System Speed & Optimization -
Everyone thinks if you defraggment your HD you can speed it up when it gets to be be unbareably slow. Most of the time the system does not need to be defragged. From downloads, shutting off computer incorrectly or a number of other things can cause certain files to be corrupted or misplaced by the registry. Not knowing what you are doing in the registry can cause even larger problems such as computer not booting or coming up to Windows desktop. We do recommend downloading free registry fix software to try and repair, this could also make things a lot worse and add viruses. About 95% of the time we can clean up your PC or laptop and have it back to you with all of your files still where you had them. Once in a while because of a crash, shut down wrong or viruses Hard Drives are erased. In that case we can reinstall your operating system or restore the computer back to it's factory state. On the assumption nothing else is wrong with it, it will be just like when you got it.
If we have tried all of the processes above and still not much improvement we will check your memory. Memory going bad, bad or not enough can cause slow response time when clicking or shutting down or starting up. We usually have memory in stock and if you just want more we can usually install memory while you wait.
